Samsung has been among the first to understand the urgency of protecting your device as well as data. Keeping in mind, Samsung has rolled out a fresh Android security patch for Galaxy J3.
Galaxy J3 is the first among Galaxy series of Samsung to get the April security patch. The more striking part has Samsung released the patch even before Google’s announcement through the Android Security Bulletins, which is purely in line with rolling out a security patch for Galaxy S9 and S9+ even before smartphones hit the stores. For the starter, this April security patch has been rolled out in a few EU countries.
SamMobile found out that Samsung has pushed April security patch out for one of its devices. Although there are no confirmed reports about what includes in this security patch and which are the issues that have been fixed by the Samsung, it is believed that a few major issues concerning display and battery have been addresses.
What surprises is Samsung rolling out security patches for its budget devices even before it’s flagship devices. Going by the trend, it is expected that Samsung will roll out the same patch for Galaxy A series and it is only by April end, flagship devices would get the security update, or maybe even later.
