Xiaomi started rolling out the stable update of MIUI 11 for its entry-level phone, Redmi 7A, in India. This update can bring a lot of system changes in the phone, such as the sounds of nature feature, redesigned UI, document preview, app lock, quick reply, app vault, and many more.
The game booster has got some new features, as well as game Turbo, which has secured its way to the Redmi 7A with the MIUI 11 update. Moreover, the update also comes with the November Android security patch.
The update of MIUI 11 for Redmi 7A phones is little behind schedule since the roadmap of the Xiaomi’s MIUI 11 original update was mentioned between November 13 and 29.
Multiple user reports are found on the official Mi community forum, where many of the users received MIUI 11 update for Redmi 7A in India. The build number of the update is MIUI v11.01.0PCMINXM, and its size is 726MB. Xiaomi has also confirmed the rollout of the MIUI 11 update for the Redmi 7A in India.
The changelog of the MIUI 11 stable update for Redmi 7A shows a new UI design that improves touch controls, removes clutter, and tweaks the colour scheme for a cleaner design compared to earlier builds of Xiaomi’s in-house custom Android skin. Furthermore, the update also delivers the sounds of nature feature, which lets users set nature-themed tones and changes the alert tunes from time to time.
The functional part of the MIUI 11 update for Redmi 7A includes the doc preview feature in the Mi Doc Viewer. It allows users to see a file preview before opening it. Quick reply feature for messaging and communication apps has made the latest update, along with mobile printing, the Game Turbo, and notifications for task management in the Notes app. Finally, the update also delivers the November Android security patch.
