Samsung came up with its new model in Galaxy A series, Galaxy A01 with entry-level specifications.
The South Korean mobile phone giant, Samsung is preparing for the release of its 2020 Galaxy A series. It started with the release of a new budget phone Galaxy A01 on its website with the key specifications.
The new model has decent entry-level specs including a 5.7-inch HD+ resolution infinity-V display. It is powered by Octa-core(Quad 1.95 GHz and Quad 1.45 GHz) SoC. It comes in 6/8 GB RAM variants and a storage of 128 GB with an option to expand the storage with a dedicated microSD card slot and comes in 3 different colors.
The release date is not yet known but is soon expected to arrive in the market. Samsung has not revealed the sale details regarding which market it is going to make the handset available. The pricing details were not updated on its official site and all the specifications are also yet to be known.
Key Specifications of Galaxy A01
Although for entry-level smartphone 6/8 GB RAM is quite good, with Octa-Core (Quad 1.95 GHz + Quad 1.45 GHz), Samsung could go for more. It has a 5.7-inch HD+ Infinity-V display. The storage is 128 GB but if you want it can be expanded up to 512 GB with a dedicated micro SD card slot.
A01 comes with a dual rear camera including 13 MP(main) with f/2.2 and a 2 MP(depth) with f/2.4 apertures. For selfies, the phone is set up with a 5 MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
The battery is a typical 3000 mAh one. The mobile gives the option of dual-sim(Nano+Nano) and the third slot for a micro SD card. As of now, we know that it comes with proximity, accelerator, and light sensors. The mobile also includes the FM Radio option. It is set to be featured in 3 colors( Red, Black, and Blue) with (146.3 x 70.86 x 8.34) mm body, but the weight is still to be known.
