MIUI 11.0.3.0 PGGCNXM Stable ROM rolled out for China users of Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone. Xiaomi launched its new Redmi Note 8 Pro in August 2019.
At present, the company has started to update its smartphones with December 2019 android security patch along with some improvements.
Project Zero Security Analysis team from Google has identified some security risks “Android Binder vulnerability,” and Xiaomi is the one among the devices, which appear to be vulnerable.
The December 2019 Android Security Patch has fixed a significant vulnerability in the framework component and increases the security of the system security.
The vulnerability could be a threat for the users of Android, and that might able to cause a permanent denial of service.

The new software update is available with a software version V11.0.3.0.PGGCNXM based on Android 9.0 Pie.
In addition, the MIUI 11 stable OTA update complete changelog include, making bug fixes like notification settings could not open in Second space, notification shade could not open in some cases, overlapping of images in scrolling screenshots, along with the December 2019 security patch.
The firmware update is rolling out over-the-air (OTA) in a continuous mode. Hence, it may take a few days or weeks expectedly.
However, users of Redmi Note 8 Pro in China can manually download the OTA update of MIUI 11.0.3.0.
