A unique new game mode, “Liferun” was released ahead of Fortnite’s scheduled release next week. The new game mode features a Philanthropic theme. It seems to have a cool message with the latest game mode.
A leaker in the Fortnite community, ShiinaBR, posted that the new game mode will be revealed at PAX South. PAX South starts on January 17. According to ShiinaBR’s post, players will play as a Red Cross worker in the game who “races to save the lives of characters in four different missions.” Screenshots provided show the Red Cross worker running around and snowboarding. She posted it on her Twitter page-ShiinaBR.
A new game mode called "Liferun" will be added to Fortnite very soon! It will first be showcased at PAX South in a few days. 👀

“Liferun” seems to be inspired by the “Deathrun” creative modes that became popular in the last year. And partnering with the Red Cross is a good idea.
The Chapter 2 season 1 will end in February 2020. Until then, we can fill the gap with this new game mode. This event will be a limited-time mode. And don’t be surprised if this game mode includes some cosmetics to go along with the Red Cross partnership. At least some, if not all, the bucks from buying will go to the organization, too.
“Liferun” is about saving the lives of characters. It is not about killing like that of other Fortnite game modes. It involves racing to save the lives of characters in 4 different missions.
Unfortunately, we have to wait until next weekend for PAX South. The new game mode will be added in the game the same day it is announced.
