February 11, 2020, is expected to be the launch date of the Mi 10 phone. A teased images surfaced online, which look official and is suggesting the launch date of the forthcoming flagship of Xiaomi.
Last year, Xiaomi unveiled a concept phone called Mi Mix Alpha. And the design of this upcoming phone, Mi 10, is much similar to that of the Mix Alpha.
Furthermore, a Chinese tipster revealed some live images that hint the design of the Mi 10 Pro 5G. The photo shows a hole-punch display and a quad-camera set up as well.
The teaser image of the Mi 10 reported on Weibo. The image proposes that the phone comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC would debut by February 11, 2020. It confirms an earlier rumor that alleged the launch of the Mi 10 series in early February.
Apart from suggesting the launch date of Mi 10, the image also displays the design of the upcoming smartphone. The teased image shows the back of the phone. It appears to have a vertical strip featuring the quad rear camera setup. It looks similar to the back panel of the Mi Mix Alpha. Still, unlike the Mi Mix Alpha, which has a wrap-around display, the phone appears to have a curved display at the front and a regular back panel.
Additionally, some live images have also surfaced on Weibo. It suggests a hole-punch display on the new Mi-series flagship, Mi 10 Pro 5G. It appears to carry a model number M2001J1C seen earlier on the 3C database of China in late November, which sport a 66W charger.
According to the leaked images, the bottom of the 10 Pro 5G has a USB Type-C port, loudspeaker grille, SIM card compartment, and a microphone. On the side, the phone has an extra loudspeaker grille and two additional microphones that provide noise cancellation.
Furthermore, an adapter with 65W charging support found in the image. A watermark is also found in one of the leaked images that read, “108MP QUAD CAMERA,” hinting that the phone may come with a 108 Megapixel camera.
Besides, a retail box highlighting Hi-Res audio support on the new Xiaomi phone seen. Moreover, the tipster on Weibo claims that the Mi 10 Pro 5G will be live for sale in China from February 14, 2020, i.e., Valentine’s Day.
