Studio Ghibli Films Are Now Streaming on Netflix

Netflix has now got the rights of 21 feature films from the Japanese animation house, Studio Ghibli. The company will add all the movies to its animation slate and will be available from the starting of February 1st.

Till now, Studio Ghibli was refusing to give the digital versions of their content. The company has started selling downloadable copies from the last month.

WarnerMedia has announced that in an upcoming spring season, the Studio Ghibli has given the US streaming rights.

Netflix got the rights, and now the movies will be across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and the Americas.

From February 2020, 21 films from the legendary animation house Studio Ghibli are coming exclusively to Netflix.

Netflix is now giving the subtitles in 28 languages and providing the dubs in 20 languages.

Aram Yacoubian, director of original animation at Netflix, said that it is a dream come true for Netflix. He also added that he is excited to make the films available in different languages. So, that more people can enjoy the comical and wonderful world of animation.

Studio Ghibli also released a plan that, in May, they will build their first theme park outside the Japanese city of Nagoya. In that park, fans can easily explore multiple theme-based areas.
