Xiaomi is rolling out its MIUI 11 updates to its devices from time to time. Now it’s time for Mi Max 3 to get MIUI 11.0.7.0 PEDMIXM update. But note that this is Global Stable ROM based on the Android 9 (Android Pie). This ROM update is for Mi Max 3, also called Nitrogen(code name). All the Mi Max 3 users will receive the OTA update soon else you can manually install the firmware as mentioned below.
As it is a global update, it may take some time for all the users to get the OTA update. If you can’t wait to get the update, you can also get it updated manually. So, we request all the Mi Max 3 users to check for the MIUI 11.0.7.0 PEDMIXM OTA update manually if you did not receive the update.
To install the new firmware manually on your device, navigate to device Settings>>About Phone>>Software update. Or you can directly go to the “Software Updater” app on your Mi Max 3 device. If you find the new version available there, then download and install it on your device.
The update comes in with a massive size of 1.7 GB for Recovery type, and it is around 2.5 GB for the Fastboot type. So, we advise you to connect to a strong WiFi and have your device charged sufficiently to download and install the update.
