POCO India finally announced the existence of POCO F2. Global Vice President of Xiaomi, Manu Kumar Jain, recently said in a statement that POCO will now work as an independent brand.
Back in 2018, Xiaomi launched POCO F1 in the country as a value for money phone displaying flagship-like specifications. However, despite its success, after that, the company did not release a successor to the Poco F1. But, recent leaks claimed that POCO F2 is in line and will soon be a reality.
To recall, a few years back, Realme got separated from Oppo, and soon after its separation, Realme lined up with many new entries. Similarly, it appears that POCO is going to follow Realme. Fans of PocoPhone are expecting the launch of POCO F2 soon.
And now, this looks much more possible than ever. The company has not outrightly said it is going to launch the Poco F2. It has done one better by stating that Poco Season 2 is coming soon. It could very likely be a hint that the company is launching not only one, but several Poco phones this year.
From a pair of tweets by the company, it is evident that the company is coming up with some good news for the fans. The tweets included an open letter to the fans and a video stating, “Season 2 is now live! “.

Interestingly, there was no mention of the Poco f2. Instead, the company stressed on the hype of Poco Season 2. These instincts that the brand is trying to expand itself in 2020 by launching a range of new phones into the market this year.
For now, there is not much information about Season 2. But, the company has promised to provide more details about it later today.
Earlier, some leaks surfaced online with leaked images of the tipped upcoming Poco F2 Lite. The phone said to power by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 chipset. The leaked images of this phone highlighted a display with a waterdrop notch.
The smartphone suggested to be the Poco F2 Lite would run on Android 10. There are some more reports about the Poco F2. They imply that the new phone would be just a rebrand of Redmi K30. As such, it could be a device power by 4G with the 730G processor, up to 256GB of expandable storage, 6GB to 8GB of RAM, and a 4,500mAh battery.
