A six-minute prologue for the Tenet, which is Christopher Nolan’s next action thriller movie is set to play in India in front of the new DC film led by Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn- Birds of Prey in IMAX screenings (only). Most probably, this would be the same Tenet prologue that screened in front of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in the US in select IMAX theatres in December 2019.
In the interest of those who have not yet read the Tenet prologue explanations or watching the ripped versions on the Internet or YouTube, we will not get into any specific details, be it whom it features or what it’s about, except to say that it is just the way Nolan wants it to be — Mind-Boggling.
In India, the already-released trailers for Tenet follow the Tenet prologue with Birds of Prey. It is a bit weird to watch a trailer after watching six minutes of the animated adventure comedy Scoob!. Scoob! is based on characters from the Scooby-Doo franchise and will release on May 15 worldwide. The other DC film Wonder Woman 1984, featuring Patty Jenkins and Gal Gadot as the director and lead respectively, is set to release in 2020. Wonder Woman 1984 will release on June 5 worldwide. If you watch the movie Birds of Prey on a non-IMAX screen in India, you will only have the chance to see only the three trailers before the film.
You can check out one of the three trailers of Tenet below and the other two trailers from the links attached here.

Cast and Release Date of Tenet in India
Tenet is written and directed by Nolan himself, and it is described as “an action epic that evolves from the world of international espionage.” It stars Robert Pattinson (Twilight), John David Washington (BlacKkKlansman), Dimple Kapadia (Rudaali), Elizabeth Debicki (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2), Clémence Poésy (The Tunnel), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Avengers: Age of Ultron), Kenneth Branagh (Dunkirk), Michael Caine (The Dark Knight), Denzil Smith (Delhi Crime), Himesh Patel (Yesterday), former ice hockey player Sean Avery, and Martin Donovan (Big Little Lies). Nolan’s wife, Emma Thomas, is also producing Tenet as a co-producer. The cinematographer for this film is Hoyte van Hoytema (Interstellar, Dunkirk), while the composer is Oscar-winner Ludwig Göransson (Black Panther).
Nolan shot some scenes of Tenet in Mumbai for five days in September 2019. He took just half the time he had reportedly planned to take to shoot in Mumbai, with the locations including Cafe Mondegar, Breach Candy Hospital, Colaba Market, Colaba Causeway, Grant Road, Gateway of India, The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, and the Royal Bombay Yacht Club. India is one of the seven production countries for the film. The other countries include Estonia, Denmark, Norway, Italy, the US, and the UK.
Both the films are distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures worldwide. Birds of Prey will release on February 7 in India, and Tenet is expected to release on July 17 in India and around the world.
