Since the launch of the VoWifi feature, Realme is trying hard to get the functionality to all its handsets.
In India, while there is an up-gradation in technology, we are still suffering poor call connectivity and network quality. Even the major network providers, such as Airtel and Jio, are facing this problem. So, to improve this, the two major networks have come up with WiFi calling or VoWifi features in India that is the first step in improving the call connectivity.
The VoWifi utilizes your WiFi connection for a better quality of call instead of your regular mobile network. This negates the disturbance in the call due to fluctuation in the network.
Until now, Realme has pushed this WiFi calling feature to some of its devices that include, Realme 1, Realme U1, Realme X, Realme X2, Realme X2 Pro, Realme 5, Realme 5s, and Realme 5i.
The company has now added this VoWifi feature to its two more devices, Realme XT and Realme 3 Pro.
Realme XT
Earlier, Realme XT has accidentally received the support for WiFi Calling with the wrong firmware. But now, with an update of the February 2020 patchset, the VoWifi feature is available to all the Realme XT devices.
Realme has officially announced the update through its official Realme community forum. The update arrives at the devices through airborne with version C.02 bringing some bug fixes and optimization for audio.
