Nicholas Tucci is known for starring in the cult horror movie “You’re Next,” has passed away following a “private” illness at 38, his family said.
His father, Alexander Tucci, shared a post on his son’s Facebook page Friday, i.e., on March 3rd, Tucci died on at Smilow Cancer Hospital in New Haven.

The cause of death was not yet shared.
His father has written that “Nick chose to keep his illness private so that he could continue to pursue his work, professional and artistic dreams for as long as possible. “In the previous year, he was able to audition, go on location, and continue the work he loved so much.”
He extended, “To those of you enjoyed Nick’s work in movies and on the stage and screen, for them, he said thank you for recognizing his son’s talent and appreciating his efforts. Thanks to those of you in the movies and theater communities and television.” Also, he thanked everyone for encouraging, guiding, and supporting Nick.

According to his IMDB biography, Nicholas Tucci was born in Middletown, before he attended Yale university he graduated from Middletown High School. There he went after a bachelor’s degree in theater and was a member of the sketch comedy group “Suite 13.” He went on to play various roles in movies, television adding FX’s “Pose, “Homeland,” Showtime’s,” and Netflix’s “Daredevil.”
Many of Nicholas Tucci’s colleagues and friends honored the actor on social media.
Barbara Crampton co-star in “You’re Next” shared her condolences on Twitter, she is known for playing Leanna Love on “The Young and the Restless” for three decennaries. She offered her condolences also to Tucci’s family and his friends.

“As a kind person and a loving creator, you will be missed.” who enjoyed his sweet company when they were lucky enough to spend time work with him.
Director and Writer Chris Peckover also tweeted that he was “heartbroken” with the demise of Tucci, and he remembered him as a good friend and as being “all heart hidden behind the fearless exterior, and an infectiously cool,”
He was also admired for having worked with Tucci and been his friend, movie producer Keith Calder said.
