In India, Nokia 2.3 starts receiving the Android 10 update with the March 2020 security patch after four months of its launch. Right now, the update is rolling out in waves, and 10% of the users are going to get the update. The countries that are going to get the Android 10 update with India in the first wave are Bangladesh, France, Malaysia, Nepal, and UAE. HMD Global, the Nokia-brand license, announced in the Nokia 2.3 community forum that the countries who are in the first wave will get the Android 10 update by 26th April.
The first company was Nokia, who comes out with an Android 10 roadmap after the official release by Google. They come with a detailed plan of how the company is planning to update its eligible devices.
On the Nokia 2.3 community forum, the HMD Global staff member said that the details of the countries that will get the Android 10 update in the second wave would be shared soon. The countries in the first wave are:
Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belarus, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Hong Kong, Iceland, India, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Latvia, Lebanon, Libya, Lithuania, Macau, Malaysia, Mongolia, Morocco, Nepal, Norway, Oman, Philippines, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Tunisia, UAE, Ukraine, and Yemen.
The Nokia 2.3 user shared a screenshot on Twitter; according to that, the firmware version of the update is v2.230, and it is 1.1GB in size. The update has March 2020 Android security patch, with the Android 10 features like Dark Mode, Smart reply, Gesture navigation, and additional controls for privacy and location.
If the user wants to check the Android 10 update, then they have to go to Settings > About phone > System updates.

Lately, the HMD Global revised the prices of Nokia phones in India. The company did it as the central government increased the GST on smartphones from 12% to 18%. Right now, the price of the Nokia 2.3 in India is Rs. 7,585.
The Nokia 2.3 was launched in December 2019 with the MediaTek Helio A22 SoC linked with 2GB RAM. The device has a dual rear camera (13-megapixel + 2-megapixel) and a 5-megapixel front camera. It came with Android 9 Pie.
