Xiaomi announced on social media that a new device is going to add in Redmi Note 9 series on 30th April. The new device by the Chinese company might be the most expected Redmi Note 9. Last month, this device was supposed to do debut with the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, but it didn’t come at that time. The Redmi Note 9 is expected to come in China as the Redmi 10X. Recently, Xiaomi extended its Redmi Note 9 series by coming up with the Redmi Note 9S.
According to a teaser image posted on Twitter, Xiaomi will launch its new Redmi Note 9 series device at 8 pm GMT+8 (5:30 pm IST) on 30th April. The launch will happen as an online event, and it will be going to stream live on Twitter and YouTube.
In the official teaser, there are no details about the phone, but it shows the number 9 in the background, so it is a hint that the Redmi Note 9 is going to do debut.
Xiaomi expected to reveal the Redmi Note 9 with the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. But, the company came with just two models at that time. After few days, it added the Redmi Note 9S to the series.
In China: Redmi 10X
Xiaomi didn’t disclose any details about the Redmi Note 9, but as per some recent reports, it can come in China as the Redmi 10X. It is the same mysterious model that was found last week on TENAA’s database with the model number M2003J15SC. The listing of TENAA suggests that the new Redmi device will come with quad rear camera setup and hole-punch display design.
As per the listing on the TENAA site, the Redmi 10X was found on the China Telecom portal in three different color options, named Sky Blue, Pine Morning Green, and Ice Fog White.
Expected Price of Redmi Note 9
The listing of China Telecom suggests that the price of Redmi 10X in China will be CNY 1,499 (approx. Rs. 16,200). It seems to be in line with the global price of the Redmi Note 9.
Specification of Redmi Note 9 (expected)
The China Telecom site also gave a hint of the key specifications of the Redmi 10X, which is expected to do its debut as the China variant of the Redmi Note 9. As per the site, the device will have a display of 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels), and it will be powered by MediaTek Helio G85 SoC and paired with 6GB of RAM. It may come with the Android 10 with MIUI 11 on top. Moreover, the device will have a 48-megapixel primary camera and a 5,020mAh battery.
The Redmi Note 9 might hold the Aura Balance design that came earlier in the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. The device might come in various storage variants.
