Amazon Prime Video India has finally released a new trailer for the famous stand-up comedian Sumukhi Suresh’s dark comedy show, Pushpavalli season 2. Season 1, which was released back in 2017, entertained the audiences with its novel and hilarious concept.

Sumukhi Suresh’s Pushpavalli is back again, after nearly two and a half years. Amazon Prime Video has released the trailer for the upcoming season 2 of Suresh’s semi-autobiographical series. Created by and presenting Sumukhi Suresh in the lead as the titular woman, who is back to “take revenge” or “make amends,” where she had burned her hands last time with the charming Nikhil (Manish Anand), who is in all places in Pushpavalli season 2 trailer. Meanwhile, the eponymous lead (Suresh) is trying to “transfer on together with her sweet and gentle fiance (Vidyuth Gargi).”
In addition to Anand and Suresh, reliable returning members on Pushvalli’s second season include Naveen Richard as her friend Pankaj and Preetika Chawla as Pankaj’s new love Swati. In keeping with the itemizing on IMDb, new faces like comedian Urooj Ashfaq, newcomer Shraddha, who allegedly broke Pushvalli’s leg with a hockey stick in the new trailer. Beginner Ashok Pathak is also part of the Pushavalli season 2 stars, alongside Gargi. Behind the scenes, Debbie Rao continues to be the director. Writing work is from Richard, and a new writing crew includes Sumaira Shaikh (Son of Abish), and newcomers Kumar Shivam and Ayesha Nair.
For Amazon, Pushpavalli season 2 would be the third original sequence from India in 2020 after two lackluster miniseries — war drama The Forgotten Army from creator-director Kabir Khan in late January, and the dark comedy Afsos from comic Anirban Dasgupta in early February. A fourth — Four More Shots Please! Season 2 is also arriving on April 17, and its arrival was introduced alongside the Pushpavalli season 2 trailer.

After a fun season one, the series would be returning to the screens with an engaging yet outrageously hilarious storyline. Pushpavalli Season 2 will be out on March 13, 2020, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video India.
