Back in October, soon after the release of the Android 10 update, Xiaomi started rolling out the update for all its phones. However, the users of Xiaomi receive the update through OTA in batches.
Xiaomi provides a bunch of mid-range smartphones. Furthermore, the company almost occupied the smartphone market, particularly in India, via these mid-range budget smartphones.
Recently, Xiaomi added another mid-range, budget-friendly phone, Redmi Note 8 Pro, to its device portfolio back in 2019. To recall, the smartphone packs in a 6.53-inch display, 6 or 8 GB of RAM, Helio G9oT chipset, and 4,500 mAh battery.
Redmi Note 8 Pro sport a quad-camera setup with 64 MP primary camera. And also have a fingerprint scanner at the back.
Users of Redmi Note 8 Pro in China received the Android 10 stable update. If you are using the device from the China region, then check out your system updater for the upgrade.
Back in November 2019, China users of Note 8 pro received the Android 10 beta update with MIUI 11.
Coming to the new update, it comes with version number V11.0.1.0.QGGCNXM and the size of the update is about 1.95 GB for the complete update package file.
Besides, the update comes with a comprehensive pack of the latest Android 10 OS. Earlier, there were reports regarding the Widevine issue i.e., HD streaming on Netflix. Now, the issues are supposed to get a solution with the Android ten update. We have to wait for the approval from the users whether this update fixes the issue or not.
As Xiaomi will always roll out its updates through OTA in batches, it takes some time for all the users to receive updates. But, if you want to get rid of the waiting time, you can download the update manually also.
