Asus brand is a slow and quite smartphone OEM; it has heavy support in the smartphone market because of the online sales. The company makes the mid-range smartphones.
Asus never gives the update on time, and still, many smartphones are waiting for its update of the latest security and firmware versions. The Taiwanese smartphone OEM, Asus, releases a new AOSP, which is based on Android 10 beta update for the device, Asus ZenFone Live (L2).
Earlier to the AOSP, Asus rolled out the Android 10 AOSP build for the devices such as ZenFone 5 and Asus ZenFone Live L1 (Lite L1).
The ZenFone Live (L2) is a mid-range device that has specifications such as SD 425, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of onboard storage, and a 3,000 mAh battery. The device comes with Android 8.0 Oreo, and it looks like now, it is going to update to Android 10.
On the official firmware page for the Asus ZenFone Live (L2) update, Asus mentioned that the firmware is for Asus ZenFone Live (L2) devices with the model numbers ZA550KL/G552KL.
The update is available for the download version V17.07.2003.405, and the weight is around 1.6 GB in size. The Asus ZenFone Live (L2) users can download the firmware from below, and they can do up-gradation manually to their phones:

When users complete the download of Android 10 firmware file from above, then they can follow the steps from below to upgrade their Asus ZenFone Live L2:
- Put the ZIP file in the root directory of the phone’s internal storage.
- Reboot your phone and check for the firmware update notification pop-up on the status bar.
- Pull down the notification bar and tap “System Update File Detected…” and follow the steps shown to update the firmware.

If the user upgrades his phone with the AOSP build, they can’t receive the OTA updates. So, they have to keep this in mind before doing the update; then, only they can install the AOSP Android 10 build on their phone.
