Cat phones- known for their robust build quality, also followed in its latest launch-Cat S32 at CES 2020 in its rugged mobile phone portfolio. The mobile phone runs on Android 10 but offers modest internal hardware. The complete specs for the latest model are not available yet.
The latest model Cat S32 has passed the MIL-STD-810G tests for durability against dropping accidentally and other types of mechanical damage. The mobile phone is IP68-certified for water and dust proofing. The mobile comes with a textured design for a firm grip and survives the extreme weather conditions.
Cat S32 Specifications:
The Cat S32 has dual-sim (Nano) slots. It runs on Android 10, and most probably, it will be Vanilla interface. Cat phone has a 5.5-inch HD+ display (720 x 1440 pixels) with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It features Dragontrail Pro cover for protection. Even under wet conditions or with gloves on, the display claims to register the touch inputs. The MediaTek Helio A20 quad-core processor powers the device and combines it with 3GB RAM. The device has got 32GB of internal storage and expandable up to 128 GB using a microSD card.
The mobile features a single 13 MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and Phase Detect Auto Focus(PDAF). The phone has a 5 MP front camera for Selfies. Battery capacity is 4,200 mAh and is fast-charging enabled. Wireless connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, micro-USB 2.0, NFC, 4G LTE, GLONASS, GPS/A-GPS, Galileo,and BeiDou. The sensors include the Proximity sensor, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and compass.
Price and availability:
The device is tagged at EUR 299, which is approximately Rs. 24000/-. It will be available on the company’s official website, carrier partners, and retailer stores. Cat S32 comes in a single Black color option. The country-wise details are not available at the moment.
