Class of 83 is the upcoming Indian web series, one of the Netflix Originals written and directed by Atul Sabharwal. The series is produced by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment banner. The series stars Bobby Deol and Shriya Saran in the lead roles along with few others like Priyanshu Chatterjee, Amrita Puri, Anup Soni, Zakir Hussain, Prashant Kumar, Satyadev Kancharana, Harsh Chhaya, Prithvik Pratap, and Ravi Singh.

The show revolves around an honorable policeman-turned police instructor whose students grapple with the complexities of honor and devotion to the nation with good morals.
Class of 83 is one of 10 new Netflix Original movies of India, that was announced by Netflix the previous month. The plot of the series is liked by other prominent figures such as Anurag Kashyap, Dibakar Banerjee (Khosla Ka Ghosla!), Zoya Akhtar, Karan Johar, Farah Khan (Main Hoon Na), and Ronnie Screwvala (Uri: The Surgical Strike). The Raees actor also produced one more web series titled “Bard of Blood” for Netflix under the same banner – Red Chillies Entertainment. Emraan Hashmi was in the lead role among other prominent actors.
Shah Rukh Khan’s production, “Bard of Blood,” series is based on a naval having the same name written by Bilal Siddiqi. This thriller series has been shot in different languages, including Hindi, English, and Urdu.
The class of 83 teaser/trailer is not yet released, but the show was announced in May 2019.

A new leak from the sources indicated that this show has almost completed its shooting and is in the post-production process. The director Atul Sabharwal and producer Mr. and Mrs. Khan will soon announce the release of the show.
