Xiaomi started to roll out a new software update for Redmi K20 or Xiaomi Mi 9T. The firmware version has been bumped to MIUI 11.0.3.0 from MIUI 11.0.2.0.
The latest update comes with a build number 11.0.3.0QFJINXM. The size of the update is around 485 MB, and it’s hefty, but the only change we could see in the update is the bump in the Android security patch level to March 2020. That too, we are in the middle of April.
One more change we could observe is the change in the base version number from 4.4.c5-00036-00036 to 4.4.c5-00036-268634.
To recall, last year, we have seen a similar update MIUI 11.0.3.0 PFJIXM. The only difference between both is the build number started with P in that case, which represents android Pie and now it Q, which is based on Android 10.
Since the update is via OTA, it takes time for all the devices to get the update. You will get a notification to download the update, and alternatively, you can check by heading to Settings > About Phone > System update.
