GTA 5 came in 2013, and since then, a lot has changed. With a new generation of consoles, the PS5 and Xbox Series X, rumors are revolving that the next game in the Rockstar is the most famous franchise that can be on its way.
The things about the Grand Theft Auto 6:
GTA 6 release date
The GTA 5 released in 2013, and probably Rockstar started work on GTA 6 in 2014, but meanwhile, they had to make the small matter of Red Dead Redemption 2 for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One versions of GTA 5. Also, for the PC and Google Stadia versions of Red Dead Redemption 2.
All of the take work, but are now out of the way. This is the logic applied in a recent leak, supposedly by a playtester who is in contact with GTA 6 during development. The source suggests that the Rockstar is aiming for a late 2020 or 2021 release date.
2020 would be surprising at this stage as Rockstar would be dropping a major bombshell if it releases a game of this significance within a year of announcement.
Recent rumors suggest that a 2020 teaser announcement can be close, as some strange artwork teas posted by the developer and one private video found hidden on its YouTube channel. It makes the player feel that it is releasing in 2021 or 2022.
(1/2)With the help of @SWEGTA's new YouTube video, I finally realized that Rockstar is gearing up to announce something. Now at GTAVINR we sincerely hope it's GTA 6. With a good chance that it will be but putting all the pieces together, a few months ago R* posted a job listing

Another part of information recently came in the form of the Rockstar North’s claims for the UK Tax Relief. There is also a little bit controversy booming over that whether players can call the likes of GTA and the Red Dead Redemption 2 culturally British as the tax scheme requires. But, Rockstar’s account shows a regular flow of tax relief in recent years.
As pointed by Tax Watch, this is a suggestion of the continuous development, and some players are thinking of it as a sign that GTA 6 is underway. It is a little bit of a stretch since the tax claim is generic and doesn’t mention any franchises.
GTA 6 platforms
The other main point is that the first big leak around the GTA 6 concerned about which platform it is going to release on. GTA 5 came out at the end of a console generation; it released on the PS3 and Xbox 360. Then after that, it re-released with better performance and graphics on the next set of consoles.
Possibly that same pattern will not be repeated with GTA 6. The leak says that the game will be exclusively for the Playstation 5 and Microsoft’s, which is recently-named Xbox Series X.
Both of the consoles are lined up to release during the holiday season of 2020.
The Red Dead Redemption 2 will take less time to come to PC players than the GTA 5 did last time. It will be a surprise if GTA 6 also didn’t make its way to PC within a year of release.
GTA 6 gameplay
The characters and storylines are just as subject to exciting details; there’s something about the GTA’s setting, which feels like the most important choice the Rockstar has to make. Is it Liberty City, Los Santos or any other metropolitan area, the playground in which players will run their riot is a big question mark.
Everyone will get to know when the Rockstar first officially teases the game, but until then, players have to wait. The controversial rumors are suggesting that the developers are planning to revisit the Vice City, which is GTA 3’s much-loved, neon-soaked alternative version of Miami.
There are also some ideas that Liberty City (from GTA III), San Andreas (from GTA: San Andreas, natch), and the Mid West can also get featured. All of them might come for the different sections.
There is no guarantee that the game world is bigger and more detailed than the map from GTA 5. But, that is how things look like to be trending.
GTA 6 story
The main story of every GTA game has only criminality, as the main rule, but the exact flavor is always up for change. The vital information that will come to GTA 6’s narrative is that the Rockstar’s co-founder, Dan Houser, will leave the studio in March.
So, it means that one of the studio’s leading tastemakers and writers is on his way out. The person is someone who was with his brother Sam and shaped the franchise’s tone from the beginning.
There might be possible that Dan Houser can talk about a script and the story before leaving the office. On the other side, if he is going out, then it’s possible that he is not involved. So, it means that the players can listen to a changed voice for GTA 6.
