Earlier Samsung gave the One UI 2.0 (Android 10) update to its flagship models, and now it is moving its attention towards the mid-range devices to upgrade them.

Recently many Galaxy A-series devices such as the Galaxy A7 (2018), Galaxy A6 (2018), Galaxy A8s, Galaxy A80, Galaxy A70, Galaxy A70s, Galaxy A30, and Galaxy A50s, got the One UI 2.0 update.

Recently a user on Telegram shared information that the Galaxy A40 gets the One UI 2.0 (Android 10) update. Users are expecting that the Samsung Galaxy A50 will also get the update soon.

The information is provided by the Italian user on the Vodafone network. Other users of the Galaxy A40 also confirmed that they also received the Android 10 update on their devices on the Vodafone network.

The user shares a screenshot, in which the update version number is BTB8/BTB7, and it weighs around 1.69 GB in size. Also, the update comes with the latest security patch level, i.e., March 2020, for the Exynos 7904 powered smartphone.

The One UI 2.0 (Android 10) update is coming with a lot of new features for the devices. The new features such as the system-wide dark mode, new navigation gestures, Digital Wellbeing with parental controls, new UI elements, and many more new things.

Recently a Galaxy A40 user also shared an HTML file stating that the update is available.

The update is right now coming for the users in Italy, and it is expected that it will come in other regions soon. The user can check the update notification by going into the Settings > Software update.

The Galaxy A40 was launched in 2019. It has 4 GB of RAM, a 5.9-inch display, a mediocre 3,100 mAh battery, and also it has a 64 GB of onboard storage. The device also has a dual-camera setup with 16 MP primary shooter and a 25 MP selfie camera.
