Google is ready to release new security updates for its Pixel smartphones. The new update is released for Pixel 2a, Pixel 2a XL, Pixel 3a, Pixel 3a XL, Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a XL, and essential phone as part of its February 2020, Android security patch update.
Five relevant fixes come as part of the security update for the Pixel 4 smartphone. The smartphone also has a system, google assistant, and NFC fixes. The update brought in two more fixes that are related to the camera. These camera fixes are expected to be accepted by those users who have experienced the camera issues in the past.
There are 13 issues resolved in the February 2020 security patch dated 2020-02-01 and also 12 for 2020-02-05. It fixes the vulnerability framework in February 2020 security patch.
If you did not get the update automatically, you can also get it manually. For this you have to navigate to Settings > System > Advanced > System update.
