Google is allegedly working on Google Pixel 4a and Pixel 4a XL phones, and some of the renders were purported online.
While the Pixel 4 was a big flop as per the users, the Pixel 3a that was launched in May this year, was a champion as an all-around use by around every corner of the Android geekdom.
The Pixel 3a, Pixel 3a XL, Pixel 4, and Pixel 4 XL were not launched in India because of the Soli radar chip.
The leaks render the first look of the upcoming smartphone on OnLeaks in collaboration with 91 Mobiles. Going into detail, many of the design flairs match up with the look of Pixel 4.But also suggests changes made that keep the phone wallet-friendly, like that of Pixel 3a.
It is also anticipated that the Google Pixel 4a will be with a ‘matte’ material unibody, probably plastic, a single 12MP camera, and a capacitive fingerprint sensor, though in a stove-like hump, that is said to employ other sensors as well. Volume and power buttons stay left. No SIM tray is evident from the renders. At the bottom, there is a USB-C port and speaker grilles. The top holds the 3.5mm headphone jack in place.
At the front, the display will be larger than the 3a, the screen might come up with 5.7″ or 5.8″. Google might opt for a “punch-hole” front camera as Samsung employed for its flagship smartphones in 2019. However, implementation of the Motion Sense features through Project Soli radars is doubtful.
The Pixel 4a is hinted to be of size 144.2 x 69.5 x 8.2mm with the camera bump going to be 9mm.
Furthermore, the details are much speculative. The Pixel 4a should have at least 4GB of RAM and probably may go up to 6GB. Internal storage is expected to be 64GB. The phone may hold either a Snapdragon 730 or a 765 SoC. Apart from black and white, 91mobiles suggest orange and purple colours.
Google will seemingly unveil the Pixel 4a (and 4a XL) at the next I/O conference. The price is a big point to watch.
