Android 10 update continued to roll out for more devices following its launch in September 2019. Many phone-makers like Huawei, Xiaomi, and many more are still busy to work on these updates.
Builds like Lineage OS 17 based on Android 10 are also coming for more of the devices.
Honor 9X users are lucky as the Chinese giant OEM, Huawei, has just started rolling out the official stable build of Android 10 for the devices.
Honor India tweeted yesterday that it is now confirmed that the update is on the way.
The new update has come to the STK-L22 model of the Honor 9X, and it comes with the Android 10-based EMUI 10.0 with build number C675E6R2P1. The size of the update is very heavy, i.e., 3.38GB. There is no official changelog yet, but it is safe to say that both Android 10 and EMUI 10 changelogs apply to these devices now.
Huawei added the Honor 9X with the Honor 9X Pro to its EMUI 10 beta program in January 2020. This program came with a beta registration exercise that was for one month, and it was only for the Chinese market.
The Honor 9X is now getting an Android 10 update, which was announced in July 2019. It has a 6.59″ LTPS IPS LCD display and powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 810 chipset. The device has a hefty 4000 mAh battery cell and 128 GB of storage.
