From the last few months, many devices are getting the official support of LineageOS 16; it is the Android 9 Pie-based custom ROM. This custom ROM offers the old devices a new life by allowing the users to experience the Android 9 Pie on their devices that still didn’t receive an official update.
The LineageOS 16 support devices like the Samsung Galaxy S4, S4 Active, Moto X (2014), LG G3, ZenFone 3, Yandex Phone, Galaxy S3 Neo, and Redmi Note 4X can experience all the features that Google has introduced for Android Pie. Now, the LineageOS team is extending the support for some more devices such as the Realme 3 Pro, Sony Xperia Z3, and Nubia Z17.
Realme 3 Pro
Realme is trying to keep the Realme 3 Pro up to date. Recently, the company releases the official Android 10 update for the Realme UI devices. It brings all the new features that are introduced in the latest Android and the brand new user interface. But, the new UI didn’t offer the same Android-like experience that the company has promised earlier. Now, the Realme 3 Pro users can enjoy the stock Android-like ROM in their devices as the LineageOS 16 starts supporting the Android 9 Pie features.

Sony Xperia Z3
The LineageOS team is also extending the LineageOS 16 support for the Xperia Z3 devices, which is very beneficial for the owners of the 2014 flagship. The device came with Android 4.4 Kitkat, and after that, it was updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow during the two years. After that, the device didn’t receive any official update, and the users have to depend on unofficial custom ROMs to have the latest features in Android in their smartphones. After having the official LineageOS 16 support now, users can be able to enjoy Android 9 Pie in their devices.

Now, the Nubia Z17 from 2017 also received the official LineageOS 16 support. The device released with Android 7.1.1 Nougat, and the company didn’t give any Android updates after its release. Now, the Nubia Z17 owners will be able to enjoy the official LineageOS 16 support.
