Earlier this month, the team of the famous LineageOS custom ROM officially rolled out the LineageOS 17.1 based on Android 10. The update came with a lot of new features such as a new partial screenshot UI that makes the user select a small part of their screen to capture and edit. The features also include AOSP introduce a new ThemePicker app, latest Android security patches; it also gets the support for the on-screen fingerprint sensor, the support for pop-up and rotating cameras, and more.
Earlier, the LineageOS 17.1 was available for a few popular devices. After that, the team adds ore devices in the list, such as the original Google Pixel, Pixel XL, and Nexus 6. Now, the custom ROM is available for the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus and the LeEco Le Pro3.
Sony Xperia XA2 Plus came in 2018 with the Snapdragon 630-powered. It came with the Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with the Sony custom UI. Now, the users of Sony Xperia XA2 Plus can experience the Android 10 on their devices. It only happened because of the LineageOS 17.1 support. The LineageOS team extends the official LineageOS 17.1 support for the LeEco Le Pro 3. The device came in 2016 with the Snapdragon 821 powered. It came with eUI 5.8, which was based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. This device was one of the last devices which were released by the Chinese company. It didn’t receive any official software updates till yet.
