The movie Malang goes around the life of four people having good characters. The story is a mix of revenge, romance, suspense, and action and is directed by Mohith Suri. The lead actors in the film are Aditya Roy Kapoor, Disha Patani, Anil Kapoor, and Kunal Khemu.
Plot of Malang
Aditya Roy Kapoor played Advait- a bag pack tripper, and Disha Patani played Sara- who searches for Ikigai staying away from the Tigers. Michael(Kunal Khemu) and Agashe(Anil Kapoor) played as the two bad cops who cross Advait and Saras’ path in Goa. Malang runs in two timelines, and one revolves around the revenge while the other involves the execution of that revenge. To find out how the revenge story had been displayed, you have to go to the big screens nearby.
Advait(Aditya Roy Kapoor) is an ordinary person who meets Sara Nambiar (Disha Patani) in Goa, where the two fall in love. Sara is an independent woman who wants to live her life happily and without any regrets, while Advait is seen busy capturing tiny moments of happiness with his camera. The duo decides to live for themselves when the two cops come into the picture, and what happens next is the story of Malang.
The first half of the movie is a little prolonged, and it tries hard to begin and connect with the audience. We find Advait as a reserved person, but we don’t exactly know why he is a reserved person. The chemistry between the two actors makes us feel like their stories are incomplete and unnecessary at times. By watching a scene shot at Goa makes you pack your bags and go adventure sporting as soon as possible.
The second half of the movie connects to the audience and earns points for the film. The film is an expendable drama, forced action, of course, predictable suspense. Also, the thriller expert will be able to decode the anxiety midst cinema itself. And the songs of Malang are okay. The movie has some of the best dialogues in it.
Coming to Anil Kapoor’s role, whenever he is on the screen, his role makes us smile. The actor’s perfect expressions, unmatched body language, and on-point dialogue delivery is the reason for the film, earning some extra marks. Kunal Khemu did justice to his role.
Aditya Roy Kapur is charming as Advait and fits the bill. He delivered the pain, love, and anger with sheer brilliance. Disha Patani looks attractive as Sara but adds nothing more worth to the film. Her smooth tone, costume design, and makeup look good. On the whole, it is a movie worth the few bucks spent.
