Another treat for smartphones lovers, another option for geeks to apply their expertise, and another launch for a smartphone maker. This time, it’s turning for Meizu to launch Meizu 15 Plus. The smartphone maker has announced the launching date of April 22, as a trinity of Meizu; Meizu 15 plus, Meizu 15 Lite, and Meizu 15 are set to be unveiled.
However, the launch isn’t going to happen without rumors surrounding the processor of Meizu 15 Plus. There are rumors, which claimed to have seen Meizu 15 Plus with Snapdragon 835 or 845 SOC. At the same time, the controversy claims to have Meizu 15 Plus supported by Exynos 8895.
The TENAA listing suggested that Meizu 15 Plus processor will be powered by 2.5GHz Octa-core processor. The fun part is, TENAA hasn’t listed the exact name of the processor available in Meizu 15 Plus. It is noteworthy that the smartphone was found listed on AnTuTu. According to this listing, Meizu 15 Plus will not have Snapdragon but Exynos processor.
According to the details available on AnTuTu, the new Meizu smartphone will have QHD resolution display and the phone has 6GB of RAM and 64GB of Internal storage. The flipside of the phone is while almost every smartphone is coming up with Oreo or getting Oreo update, Meizu 15 Plus will have Android Nougat 7.0.
There are reports, which claims to have Meizu with pre-installed Flyme 7 skin and the handset tests set its benchmark score at 190,274. The Meizu 15 Plus will have a 5.95-inch AMOLED screen. The TENAA listing added that it may have a 4GB variant with 128GB Internal memory. So far as the battery is concerned, Meizu 15 Plus will be powered by a 3430 mAh battery. The smartphone will have a 12mp dual camera with a 20mp sensor.
Considering Android 7.0, we expect the smartphone to be a budget phone, however, there is no word on the price of the phone.
