Xiaomi is one of the few Android OEM’s that rolls out latest updates to devices with are out of their update cycle. Even if the updates aren’t always timely, the Chinese tech firm always delivers, but in the event of the Redmi Note 5 Pro, recently Xiaomi has fixed issues that are reported by users in latest update Android 8.1 Oreo.
Recently Xiaomi has announced new Mi 8 variants, and also announced MIUI 10 ROM and Redmi Note 5 Pro is one of the first device to receive the update. Though the MIUI 10 version 8.6.6 for Note 5 Pro is already rolled out, it is just limited to a few selected people who have participated in the beta program in their home country of China.
