The new update, Global Stable ROM MIUI 11.0.2.0 for Mi Play, is now officially released. The new update comes with software version V11.0.2.0.OFIMIXM over Android Pie for Mi Play along with December 2019 patch.
Xiaomi has officially announced the availability through its official Mi community. If your Mi Play handset has China or Global ROM, then you must have received the update. Check out the updater app to update your device to MIUI 11.0.2.0 for Mi Play.
The update will also bring the newest security patch to the device. The bugs related to the status bar, notification shade, and lock screen, now fixed.
Made local time naming optimization. The issue related to overlapped in scrolling screenshots has now addressed. The new update is based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
The update also delivers the latest December Security Patch for the device. It improves the security of the system and fixes issues related to vulnerability.
Xiaomi will always roll out its firmware updates to the devices via OTA (over-the-air) in batches. That will lead to most of the new improvements and features to the Mi Play. The update expected to arrive soon on the rest of the regions as well.
The complete changelog for the latest update includes updated Android Security Patch to December 2019 and increased system security. A clock optimization with more obvious naming for local time.
