With the MIUI 11 rolling out in more and more of Xiaomi’s devices, the smartphone giant has also dedicated itself to greatly improving it with more new and unique features that are sure to receive appreciation from the users.

As reported by Gizmochina after utilizing the information from a Chinese website called My drivers, MIUI 11 will soon be updated with the three fresh features, one of which has already been announced some days ago which is the Focus mode. And it is focusing on the digital wellbeing of the user as has been the trend in Android these days.

Moreover, these features are said to be more student-oriented and can enhance the efficiency of a student by organizing their schedule and improving their productivity.

First of all, we have the new customizable feature for the lock screens as was launched by Xiaomi before, but in addition to the previous ones, this upcoming one will have a lot more dynamic features to boot. A user can select their own image, colour, caption, and emoji and customize it accordingly into their lock screens.

There is also a new function where the user can also customize their notification icon, it’s colour and where it will appear within the lock screen. Through this, the students don’t have to always unlock their phones as they can see the necessary information at a glance on their lock screens.

The second is the Curriculum Mode which is a student-oriented calendar where a student can take down important notes for a particular day and schedule their time table as they wish. The feature is integrating with the Xiaomi’s Mi calendar and its in-house virtual assistant dubbed as Xiao Ai that will help students whenever they need it.

There has been no official announcement for the launch of these features yet but in the coming days, we are likely to receive more information on them.
