The LineageOS 17.1 adds its support for Moto Z. The developer erfanoabdi provides this custom ROM for Moto Z, and it is now available for download.
Android 10 or Android Q update for the Moto Z device is a big thing as this device is around four-year-old. It was released in June 2016. So, that’s why the smartphone was not eligible for the official Android Pie update. Some users can also think that there would be no official update of Android 10 for their devices.
Besides that, the LineageOS 17.1 also brought Android Q support for many other devices such as the Redmi K20, Mi 9T, Poco F1, Google Pixel 2 XL and Redmi 5A.
The LineageOS is the most popular custom ROM available right now, and it supports almost all the smartphones. One thing that makes this custom ROM different is that the users get usual updates, and after every update, many new features added.
Moto Z features a 5.5″ QHD AMOLED display, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset. The Moto Z is powered by a 2600mAh battery, with the fast charging functionality, and it also has a USB Type-C connector. The Moto Z has additional functionality,i.e., it can easily connect to the projector, JBL speakers, or other battery packs.
