Netflix is ready to release a new web series on Valentine’s day(February 14) titled “Taj Mahal 1989.” Also, it releases the upcoming original series from India titled “In and around Lucknow College in 1989.”
Actors Neeraj Kabi (Talvar), Danish Hussain (Bard of Blood), Sheeba Chaddha (Badhaai Ho), and Geetanjali Kulkarni (Gullak) can be seen in the upcoming web series. The actors are trying to bring up True love story, friendship, Politics, and heartbreak through Taj Mahal 1989.
The stars of Taj Mahal 1989 also include Anud Singh Dhaka (Super 30), Paras Priyadarshan (Haseena Parkar), Shirin Sewani (Naagin), Anshul Chauhan (Shubh Mangal Savdhan), and Vasundhara Rajput, Mihir Ahuja (Mission Over Mars).

The story of “Taj Mahal 1989” revolves around the life of a Lucknow University professor couple, their students, a schoolgirl who is in love with an older boy, a long-lost friend, and his lover. This story seems to be a tribute to love and was showcased perfectly with all the elements required to make it even more interesting.

After Jamtara: Sabka Number Aayega, this is the second combination of Netflix and Viacom 18. Viacom 18 Studio’s COO Ajit Andhare said that he was excited to partner with Netflix to introduce Tripping Point’s original series to the whole world. This news came out last December, and it is expected that the Taj Mahal 1989 will start streaming on Netflix starting February 14.
Ajit also said that “great stories may come from anywhere, but irrespective of the origin, these will be successful in being loved by anyone.” It’s good to get some good stories to watch, and we will certainly encourage these stories having the right content in them.
