Last November, Oppo announced its latest custom Android skin, i.e., ColorOS 7 in China. Initially, the Chinese company revealed a first update schedule for many of its devices.
A few weeks back, the Oppo came up with an updated timeline on which it’s written that when the company is planning to release the ColorOS 7 update, which is based on Android 10.
In the updated schedule, many of the Oppo devices are going to get the ColorOS 7 update next week, i.e., on 10th March. It looks like that now the company is on track to release the update.
Today, the company rolled out a new round of the ColorOS 7 updates for early adopters. The ColorOS 7 updates for early adopters is an invitation for the next batch of testers for the devices. The device which includes are the Reno 10x Zoom, Reno 2, Reno Ace, Find X, R17, and R17 Pro.
For some devices, the invitation is going for the second batch, and for the other devices, the invitation is of the third batch for limited early adopters. The opening time for the recruitment channel for all the devices is 10:00 am on 7th March.
For the Reno 10x Zoom device, the invitation is for the second batch of limited early bird adopters, i.e., 30000 people. The devices which qualified for this are the Reno 10x zoom version and the Reno Barcelona of customized version.
The invitation for the Reno Ace is for the third batch, which is limited Early adopters. The qualifying devices for this batch are the Reno Ace and Reno Ace Gundam Edition.
The Find X device has the invitation of the third batch, which is for limited early adopters, i.e., 13000 people. The qualifying devices for this batch are the Find X, Find X Lamborghini, and Find X Super Flash Charger.
For the Reno 2 phone, the invitation is of the second batch, and it is limited for early adopters, i.e., 10000 people.
For the R17 Pro device, the invitation is for the second batch, and that is limited for the early adopters, i.e., 3000 people. The devices which are qualified for this are the R17 Pro, R17 Pro New Year Edition, and R17 Pro King Custom Edition.
The device R17 has the invitation of the second batch, and it is limited for early adopters, i.e., 8000 people. The qualified devices for this batch are the R17 and R17 New Year Edition.
If any user wants to apply, then the user should be aware of all the requirements and also with the application process. A user should stick to the timeline, which is provided by the company as the seats are limited.
Update (6th March 2020)
OPPO revealed that the Reno2 Z would receive an Android 10 update on 16th March. The Reno2 F and RX17 Pro (R17 Pro) will get the update on 27th March. The company also gave the details on its ColorOS 7 plans, which is coming in Q2 of 2020.
