Many Nokia devices are up and running the latest Android 10 OS; also, many got the latest April patch.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the company updated its plans for updating the devices to Android 10. Nokia 5.1 Plus is waiting for its last OS upgrade as Android 10, so now it will get updated in Q2 2020.
Earlier it was reported that the company plans to upgrade the Nokia 5.1 Plus in May. The device was launched in 2018. A few days back, a video came that showed Android 10 is running on the Nokia 5.1 Plus, before that, the Android 10 internal beta update was leaked.
So many things came out about the Android 10 update for the Nokia 5.1 Plus. But, till now, the update didn’t come for the device.
The users may have to wait for some time to get the Android 10 OS. As per a user report, a new security update based on Android 9 Pie is now live for the device.
It has the April security patch, and it weighs around 61 MB in size. It is an additional update.
The user shared a screenshot of the new updates, and he also said that after the update, the device gets the issues like battery drain and lagging.
It is not clear that all the users are experiencing these issues after the update or not.

The users have to wait for an extended time before the Android 10 update comes on their device. It is almost confirmed that the Android 10 update will be the last OS update for the 5.1 Plus users. As per the default update cycle of HMD Global, all the devices are eligible to receive only two major Android OS updates.
