Samsung, after a pause of 2 months, re-released Android 10 based One UI 2 to its Galaxy A50 mobile phone. The latest update to Galaxy A50 is pushed with March 2020 Security Patch update. Initially, Samsung started Android 10 to A50 in March but halted the rollout due to some software bugs reported by some of the users. At that time, the update was paired with February 2020 Security Patch that is now updated to March 2020. The new firmware update comes with the version number A505FDDU4BTC8 and all the goodies of One UI 2 based on Android 10.
Improvements in the latest One UI 2 Based on Android 10 for Samsung Galaxy A50
SamMobile first reported the news about One UI 2 based on Android 10 being received by Samsung Galaxy A50 mobile phone. According to the report, the firmware version number is A505FDDU4BTC8 and comes in at a size of around 1.7 GB. The latest update brings in all the goodies of Android 10 like the Dark Mode/Dark Theme, Smoother animations, One UI 2 enhancements that improved user interface with system colors, and clearer app icons. Samsung specific apps like Samsung Notes, Samsung Health, Samsung Internet, and Calculator will have to be updated individually. Along with these improvements, the update also brings in March 2020 Security Patch update with it.
For the users who have updated in the initial rollout of Android 10 update to Galaxy A50, the latest update is of 150 MB in size and comes with fixes for software bugs that prevailed in the initial rollout.
Navigate to Settings>>System Update>> Check for Updates>>click on Download and Install to get the latest Android 10 based One UI 2 on your Galaxy A50 device. If you can’t find the update notification, it should reach you in a few days or so.
