In China, the latest OnePlus phone, OnPlus 8 Pro has been found on the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) website. The certification listing proposes that the phone will employ dual-mode 5G connectivity, and also provide support to range bands as well.
The model number on the listing is IN2010, which is assumed to be of the upcoming OnePlus 8 Pro. OnePlus is foreseen to launch three phones next year, including OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, and OnePlus 8 Lite.
The leaks of OnePlus 8 Pro suggest that the phone will come up with a hole-punch display and a quad rear camera setup.
Tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore spotted the MIIT listing and revealed the information through his Twitter. His tweet hints that the smartphone will have dual-mode 5G connectivity.
The phone would support various frequency bands, such as n1, n41, n78, and n79. The listing discloses a little more about the upcoming phone. In this year, OnePlus launched the OnePlus 7T Pro 5G but made it exclusive to T-Mobile only.
It is speculated that next year smartphones should be more widely available. The tipster claimed that the pro variant will be launched along with OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Lite, and that will happen either by February or March.
According to the rumours, the OnePlus 8 is inclined to employ a hole-punch display, a 120Hz Fluid Display, and quad rear camera setup with a fourth ToF sensor to intensify the depth in portrait shots. There is something more that is known about the phone at the moment, is the phone will be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 865 SoC.
As stated before, the company should also launch the OnePlus 8 Lite along with OnePlus 8, and it should be a matured version of the OnePlus 8. The rendered leaks hint a hole-punch display and dual rear camera setup on the OnePlus 8 Lite.
OnePlus is also going to establish its presence at CES 2020, and it is going to reveal ‘Concept One,’ its first concept smartphone.
