In 2015, OnePlus last launched its 10,000mAh power bank. Over the years, though the company is improving its wired charging standards, it is still to be ported over to a power bank.
Now, it seems that the company is, at last, getting ready to launch a new power bank with fast charging technology.
Carl Pei, the co-founder of OnePlus, hinted on Twitter that a power bank with support for fast charging might go official soon.

What would be a better chance than launching the power bank at this time when its 8 series tipped to launch next month.
Carl Pei’s tweet is not a confirmation, but as there is a massive demand from the fans of the brand and Pei’s nature of tweet makes the news almost confirm.
So far, there are no leaks surfaced online concerning the launch of the power bank from OnePlus. So, there would be no information regarding its pricing, capacity, and design at the moment.
OnePlus has reemphasized on many occasions that if a charging technology matches up to its wired charging standards. If matched, then only it will see the light of the day. Well, it seems that OnePlus has at last cracked that code for power banks.
To one’s interest, the company might also bring an added and highly requested feature to the table soon, i.e., wireless charging support. Recently, the company joined the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC). WPC is the industry body that manages the development of wireless charging standards. Some leaks also suggest that wireless charging will eventually make its way to OnePlus phones. It might start with the OnePlus 8 Pro.
