PUBG Mobile developers will make some new changes in the upcoming 0.17.0 update. The game will have many new features, modes, outfits. The Tencent Games push a beta version of the game that is giving a brief look at the patch notes of the update.
In one of the recent videos, Mr. Ghost Gaming reveals the release date of the upcoming PUBG Mobile update. He also talks about some leaks regarding the crate items that are rising online. The PUBG Mobile 0.17.0 update will arrive on 12th February 2020. And on 11th February, the global servers will be drag down for the maintenance.
The data miner has also said that v0.17.0 will also feature the 1st-anniversary crate with some fantastic rewards. The next update of the PUBG Mobile is mainly based on the 2nd Anniversary of the game. Therefore, the players can get some rare rewards by opening the crates. Some of the crate items are:
1st Anniversary Crate: Kar98K skin
1st Anniversary Crate: L&Q Chicken M762 skin
Guitar Backpack Skin
Happiness Box Headgear outfit
Remember that these crates can only be opened by spending UC cash (Unknown Cash). And after that, the items will remain permanent in the user inventory.

The appearance of the character has not been revealed yet. The developers have only put the icon of the character into the game files. Carlo is coming with some other additional features such as MVP emote, outfits, etc.
