PUBG PC Bots
The PUBG PC developers in last week’s blogpost said that veterans are continuing to improve their skills, but many of the new players are eliminated very early and that too with no kills. The newcomers sometimes do not receive any damage at all. With this, the skill gap between the newbies and the veterans is further widening, which ultimately makes the battleground environment more challenging for these newbies.

Bots that were introduced in the latest update 7.2 were previously part of the PUBG test servers only. The patch-notes confirms that the bots will not appear in all games but will appear in normal games only. Further, these bots will be less frequent as the newbie improves his/her skill. Not just this, the developers of the game also confirmed that these bots would not appear in the new Ranked mode.
Many veterans did not like the idea of introducing bots in the game. Engadget also reported the backlash faced due to the introduction of bots into the game, calling it a ‘joke.’
The bots were already introduced in the PUBG Mobile in early 2018. For further information on Bots, click on the patch-notes link below.

Some more upgrades in the latest update
A new weapon and armor balance is one big upgrade in the latest update. In armor improvements, vests/life jackets, if damaged, will not disappear from the lot, including the inventory space of the vests. If these vests are damaged, they can be used for protection up to some extent.
A Shotgun weapon style and a retuned assault rifle are also part of the new upgrades. A planned gas can update been not included now as there seemed to be some problem with the feature. Apart from these, there are numerous changes and improvements in Skin and items, Sound changes, Several UI and UX changes, 2nd tack of survivor pass season missions unlock feature, and some bug fixes in the previous update.
