Finally, Realme announced the launch date of Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro. Today, Realme teased via Twitter that the Realme 6 Series will be launching on March 5, 2020, at 12:30 pm.
Furthermore, the company also gave us a glimpse of one of its upcoming Realme phones, flaunting a hole-punch display. A pill-shaped cutout is also an indication that the forthcoming Realme phone will pack a dual front camera setup.
Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme Mobiles tweeted on Tuesday a picture of him with Salman Khan, took on Realme 6, indicating him to be the brand ambassador. The picture also shows that the device sports a 64MP Quad camera.
Today’s official Realme post on Twitter has confirmed all these. In its Tweet, the company released a promotional image featuring Salman khan holding a Realme 6 series phone. “ProDisplay,” most likely hinted at an upgrade in the characteristics and display quality over the Realme 5 series.
It seems to have thin bezels and a pill-shaped hole-punch. The hole punch shape makes it clear that the Realme 6 series phone will have dual selfie cameras. Also, it might have a high refresh panel.
Recently, Realme 6 was spotted on the Wi-Fi Alliance database. It is tipped to pack MediaTek Helio G90T SoC in tow, a 4,300mAh battery, and will also support Bluetooth 5.0 standard for wireless connectivity.
Now again, another poster has been leaked by @Sudhanshu1414, where you can see a 90Hz smooth display and 30W Flash Charge.
The 6 Pro also received the obligatory Wi-Fi Alliance certification as well as recently spotted on the IMDA database. As of now, there is no much information about the rest of the hardware. But now, when the launch has been confirmed, we will get to know much about the two phones through official teasers in the coming days.
As mentioned above, the Realme 6 and 6 Pro will be unveiled at an event on March 5, which starts at 12:30 pm IST and live-streamed via the company’s official channels.
