Realme X50 5G phone teased to launch before the Spring Festival in China. Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of the Realme, Xu Qi Chase, has now shared a new post that hints that the date of the launch could be January 5, 2020.
The post does not particularly reveal the launch date, and it is just mere speculation. However, Realme has been teasing the launch of its first 5G phone, and the launch is expected soon.
Xu Qi Chase has shared a picture from the gym on Weibo, where a number ’20’ can be seen in between two treadmills. Further, he mentioned in his post that “The gym brushed up, and after all, it is only days left for the press conference.” If the launch is 20 days away, then the probability of the launch of the Realme X50 5G smartphone is on January 5.
The company has already affirmed that the Realme X50 5G phone will come with the Snapdragon 765G SoC that is powered by an embedded 5G modem. Teasers released earlier infer dual selfie cameras as well as dual-band 5G support.
The phone is anticipated to feature up to 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of onboard storage, a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 4,500mAh battery with VOOC 4.0 fast charge, and wireless charging support.
The phone is going to house a rear quad camera setup that will include a 60-megapixel primary camera with a Sony IMX686 sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter, and two 2-megapixel shooters. One shooter is for macro, and the other one is for portraits.
The dual selfie cameras on the front will include a 32-megapixel primary shooter and an 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter. Alongside this, the company is also assumed to launch a Realme X50 Youth Edition variant.
