Realme rolled out the latest software update for four phones. Realme 3, Realme 3i, Realme C1, Realme 2 are the variants that are now receiving January 2020 Android security patch update.
To recall, the company released an update to its 5i phone, but it brought December 2019 Android security patch.
The latest update for the four variants additionally brings some bug fixes and improved system stability apart from the January 2020 patch.
The sizes of the updates changes along with phones, and the Realme 3 and 3i phones receive faster switch toggles of dark mode in the notification center. The update also appends a new flash on call feature. And, also the two phones provide an option to click on the blank space to go back to the launcher on a previous task interface. The update size for both the phones is 2.04GB. And the updates bears the version number RMX1821EX_11.A.25.
The Realme C1 and 2 updates resolve some known bugs and will also improve the stability of the system. The latest software update bears the version number RMX1805EX_11_A.63. It is available with the January patch, and further brings some bug fixes and improved system stability. The update of the C1 model is 2.06GB in size, whereas the update size for the Realme 2 is 2.07GB.
The new software updates for the phones are rolling out through over-the-air (OTA). If the owners of any of these phones still did not receive the notification for the update, then they can check manually in the Settings for the update.
Alternatively, users can also get the download links for manually updating their respective phones on the official website of the company. Users can download it using either the Simple Mode or the Recovery Mode. The process of installation is on the support page itself.
