ColorOS 7 is the skin that runs on all the Android 10 powered smartphones allied to OPPO. The allies of OPPO include Realme smartphones also. On top of ColorOS 7 skin, Realme mobiles will add one more layer on it named as realme UI.
Realme phones will now have two custom skins- ColorOS 7 and realme UI. But Realme wants you to focus on customizations of the in house developed realme UI rather than OPPO’s ColorOS 7. In November 2019, the company revealed its plans on its in house UI availability based on Android 10 for some of its devices.
At that time, the company confirmed its idea of releasing its custom UI to some of its devices in January 2020. The devices that will receive the UI are Realme XT and Realme 3 Pro[Realme 3 Lite(Youth) in China]. We have attached the ColorOS 7 timeline below for your reference.
Realme UI early access program for Realme XT and Realme 3 Pro
The Chinese company is now searching for some willing Realme XT and Realme 3 Pro owners to volunteer and test the new realme UI beta update. This latest update brings Android 10 to the two mobile phones listed above.
The program is only for a limited number of users, so if you wish to tender your application, click here.
“We will give realme UI update to 200 users of Realme 3 Pro and realme XT only (on a first-come, first-serve basis).”
This statement is according to Source.
You won’t gain early access to test the UI if:
- The IMEI number is incorrect
- The realme phone having the IMEI provided is not sold in India
- The IMEI number provided does not match the selected models
you can find the above information here.
If you successfully get into the program, the least you can expect is a set of wallpapers inspired by the natural elements suitable for all available color options.
Ahead of the roll-out, Realme has already made the wallpapers available for anyone who wishes to try them on their mobile phones but not necessarily realme devices running on the st Realme UI. Download them from the link below.
