In March, Indian users of the Realme X2 Pro starts receiving the Realme UI based on Android 10. Now, the device receiving a new update over-the-air (OTA) that also has April 2020 security patch with a new charging animation and overall system enhancements. In the company’s community forum, Realme said that the latest update would roll out in batches. A wider rollout may come in a few days after having the surety that there are no critical bugs. The Realme X2 Pro was launched in 2019 with Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.1 on top.
As per the Realme X2 Pro changelog, which was posted on Realme’s community forum, the latest system update comes with the build version RMX1931EX_11.C.25. The Realme X2 Pro will get the update of the Android April 2020 security patch, the update of charging animation, and also a camera app bug fix, which was found while using the HDR shooting mode. Realme also fixes the many bugs on the X2 Pro device that includes:
- While playing PUBG, the Bluetooth headset stops working.
- Occasional display of screen while rebooting the device.
- Sometimes, app crashes.
- Voice assistant issue
- When the third-party app’s exit, the microphone icon displays on the status bar.
The company said that if there will be no critical bugs, then the full rollout will be completed in the upcoming days. The Realme X2 Pro users can check the availability of the system update by going into the phone’s Settings and select the Software Update. The update can be downloaded by using Wi-Fi. If the user didn’t get the OTA update and wants to download it manually, then they have to go to the Realme download page and have the file. The size of the file is 2.92GB. The user has to search the Realme X2 Pro on the download page manually.
The Realme X2 Pro starts getting the Realme UI based on Android 10 in last month. The update comes with a lot of new features such as Smart Sidebar, new Navigation Gestures, and Display features, and many more. The updates rolled out with the software version RMX1931EX_11.C.23.
The Realme increased the prices of its smartphones after the Indian government increased GST rates on phones. The cost of the Realme X2 Pro was also get revised from Rs. 27,999 to Rs. 29,999. The company launched the device in India in November 2019.
