India is not a part of the Asus-Stadia partnership with Google.
Asus ROG Phone 3 is coming with a pre-installed Stadia game streaming service. There is no confirmation that when this phone is going to launch. But, the company reveals this development for the next Asus ROG Phone. This news came when Google announced support of Stadia game streaming on the Asus ROG Phone 2. Earlier Stadia gaming platform was launched only for Chrome OS devices, and the Pixel phone family. But, now, the company is spreading their support to non-Pixel devices also.
ROG phone range from Asus is made to be a gaming-centric, and the addition of Stadia will be welcome by hard-core gaming fans. Asus gave the announcement of development in a press note and said that the next-gen Asus ROG phone would come with Stadia pre-installed. It is a cloud-based service, and its value-add into a gaming feature-packed phone. Now users will see whether it will come or not.
The Asus-Stadia partnership is until 2021, and the Stadia app will only be preloaded in participating territories. The Stadia partnership with ROG will cover the area of Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the United States. And Indian consumers will not get the Stadia on ROG phones.
Google Stadia was launched last year with an aim, i.e., to allow gaming on mobile devices, TVs, and PCs, eliminating the need for consoles. Its a library of games which includes the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Borderlands 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Darksiders Genesis, Destiny 2: The Collection, Doom Eternal, Final Fantasy XV. And Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Red Dead Redemption 2, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, Watch Dogs Legion, and Wolfenstein: Youngblood, among others.
Apart from the Asus ROG Phone 2, Google recently announced the Stadia support for some other devices also such as the Galaxy S10 series and the Galaxy Note 10 series. Razer phone series and the original Asus ROG Phone also got the Stadia support.
