Samsung has already rolled out One UI 2.0 update based on Android 10 to most of its flagship devices. Almost all the Samsung Galaxy A Series devices got One UI 2.0 update.
To recall, the company launched Samsung Galaxy A40 in March 2019. When launched, the device came with Android 9 Pie. The device sport a 5.9 inches display with a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels. It is fueled by a non-removable Li-PO 3100 mAh battery, powered by in-house made Exynos 7885 processor, which is coupled by a 4GB RAM and 64 GB storage. The device offers a lot of features and within the budget to give fierce competition to the rival manufacturers.
Coming to the Android 10 update of Samsung Galaxy A40, back in March, Italian users confirmed receiving Android 10 update. Later the update was also observed in some more European countries such as France, Switzerland, and Germany. The update has brought along the latest March 2020 security patch.
Now, as per a post surfaced on Reddit, the One UI 2.0 update based on Android 10 is rolling out for the device in the UK.
The update is arriving at Samsung Galaxy A40 with the version numbers A405FNXXU3BTC4 / A405FNOXM3BTC4 / A405FnXXU3BTB7 and weighs in around a hefty 1.53 GB in size. Furthermore, the update also bumps the Android security patch level to the latest March 2020.
