According to the recent reports, Samsung has started rolling out Android 10 based One UI 2.1 update for some of the users of the Samsung Galaxy A51.
As we all know that Samsung’s latest iteration of its custom user interface, the One UI 2.1, was released with the launch of the Galaxy S20 series, and as we know, the Galaxy S20 devices came with One UI 2.1 out of the box.
This is a state of excitement for the Samsung users, as they are eagerly waiting for the update to land on their units. However, the process is simple, and the One UI 2.1 update is rolling out to the devices that have already received up the Android 10 update before.
One UI 2.1 Update’s Features
If we take a look at the new features that this One UI 2.1 brings for the devices, there is a lot to talk about. For beginners, it brings cleaned up users interface, AR Zone, Quick Share, smoother animations, Live caption, Music Share, several improvements in the camera UI, etc.
The latest reports suggest that all these features have been pushed as One UI 2.1 update for the Galaxy A51 as well. Moreover, the company brings a bundled April 2020 security patch along with One UI 2.1.
Samsung Galaxy A51 came out in 2019 with Exynos 9611 chipset and Android 10 out of the box, and it was about time for the device to receive the OEMs latest version of the One UI.
The One UI 2.1 update arrives with build number BTD4 and has a weight of around 1.26 GB in size. As expected, the update packs in all the One UI 2.1 latest features for the Galaxy A51.
Another report also suggests that this One UI 2.1 update is rolled out to a limited number of users, as of now. However, a full rollout is expected gradually.
The update is being rolled out to the users currently in regions like Kenya, Turkey, Russia, Morocco, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Afghanistan, Israel, and Pakistan.
So, users should expect the One UI 2.1 update anytime to arrive on their Samsung Galaxy A51 units, as the update is being rolled out in batches via OTA and will take some time to reach all the regions.
