In December 2019, Samsung released the Galaxy M20 Android 10 update, even earlier of some suitable devices like the Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy Note 9, and Galaxy S9.
When it comes to software updates, then Android prioritizes new and premium devices earlier than older and entry-level devices. But, the M20 and M30 pick up the OS before their premium counterparts.
However, this is only limited to select markets even though the rollout is spreading slowly to other markets. Latest the implementation comes to the European market.
The Galaxy M20 Android 10 update first came to model SM-M205F sold in India, Sri Lanka, Iraq, Kenya, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE, and even Turkey before Vietnam’s model SM-M205G. The next one was the model SM-M205FN, who gets the update, but this was only recorded in Russia.
Now the rollout is going widely more in European markets where the model SM-M205FN is sold. Till now, the OS is spotted in Germany, Luxembourg, and Greece, with those in the Netherlands, Ukraine, and Caucasus Countries is expecting to get it soon.
The latest Galaxy M20 Android 10 update has the software version M205FNEEU3CTA3. And it is set for the newest January 2020 security patch.
The users who pick up the One UI 2.0 update in their Galaxy M20 units at the end of 2019 has an old December security patch. So better to get the new January patch.
